Nykredit Copenhagen Marathon

The official app for Nykredit Copenhagen Marathon is developed for Sparta. The app contains all the information you need before, during, and after the race, whether you’re taking part in the event as a runner, a spectator or member of the press.

Marathon participants have access to practical information about the race, the event schedule and the Marathon Expo as well as course maps and live results.

If you are experiencing the race as a spectator, you are able to follow your friends, family members and favorites live during the race, get regular news updates and live results, and find a cafe or an official hot spot near you.

Live Tracking & Results

Live results displays a leaderboard featuring the top male and female contestants. Additionally, you can choose up to 10 favorites that you want to follow in the ‘Live Tracker’.

Once participants have passed the first timing point, you can follow them in the ‘Live Tracker’. Here you can follow the leading men and women as well as your favorites on the route map. If you select a specific runner on the map, you can press the map markers, and see when the runner is expected to pass the selected kilometer mark or split time. This let’s you know when and where to cheer.

On each runner’s profile you can view the race result, ranking and recorded split times. During the race you can also see the estimated distance completed, speed and expected finish time.

Note: Your favorites position on the interactive map is estimated on the basis of their split times, not GPS-tracking, and therefor the accuracy may vary. Similarly, if a runner drops out of the race, this is not displayed.

Replay the Race

The new replay feature (available later on race day) allows you replay the race, and compare your favourite runners against each other. Go to ‘Tracking & Results’ and tap ‘View on map’ under ‘My Favorites’. Now your selected favourites are ready to challenge each other and/or the race winners in a simulated race.
